Welcome to my website – a showcase for a wide range of my oils and watercolours. Please feel free to take a look around the galleries and related pages where you will find everything you will need to know about my work. I am lucky and proud to say that my work has been in such great demand that frequently it has sold even before it is dry!
The painting below is “Celtic Storm” Scotland. This painting was featured in the December 2012 edition of Vogue magazine.

If you would like to view one of my paintings in situ, I can bring the painting to your home at your convenience. (This service is only available in London and the Home Counties).
If you find a painting in the gallery that catches your eye, there are savings to be made if you buy online. I am now able to offer customers prints of my work and also commissions.
My Story
Since I can remember I have always drawn and painted, I have a passion for art. My parents weren’t keen for me to go to art college so it wasn’t until my late twenties that I had the opportunity to devote more time to this passion.
I felt privileged and proud to study for my degree in fine art at Central St Martins London.
I have a passion for the natural world and find inspiration for my work from the forces of nature. As an artist, using nature as my vehicle, I look to connect with my audience by evoking memory and emotion. For me, nature in its full glory expresses so many emotions.
I am currently working on a series of paintings that encompass the elements. The notion of elemental landscapes that are abstract in their very subject matter, earth, fire, water and air give me the inspiration, freedom and materials to explore and experiment.
I like to create strong, powerful images that depict nature at its most sublime.
Working in oils, mixed media and watercolours I layer my work using a limited palette. Tone and texture are important to me.
I hope I am renowned for my strong sense and understanding of colour. My paintings range from raging volcanoes, using clashing colours to create a dynamism; to more tranquil scenes of Scottish lochs and mountains or the soft rolling hills of the North Downs which are on my doorstep, whereby layering paints I look to create subtle harmonies.
I exhibit all over the country and have my work shown and sold in galleries, as well as art fairs. A selection of my work can be viewed at No Naked Walls gallery in Bramley, Surrey, where you can see a permanent changing collection.
I frequently undertake commissions and my work can be found in private and commercial collections.

As a competition winner for my piece called Life, my work was featured in a prestigious ebook collection of artworks.
